Just visiting, its ridiculous to enter, driving as if you are driving in a hole and driving out. Unfortunately there are more speed bumps throughout the complex. I told my daughter, she will need to come to the streets t o meet me. The rent must be cheap and affordable because the parking spaces are always full. If you want the smoke detector to stop beeping, you best buy your own batteries. Years back when l rented an apartment, Maintenance took care of the batteries. more ... hide ...

This place is no place to raise a family. The staff is very unprofessional, rude, petty and disrespectful to their tenants. I dont see how any of them manage to keep their jobs. The office manager, Sandra, and the assist ant manager Antonia both have bad attitudes. They lie and force you sign papers with the wrong dates on them to cover their own backsides, they make up random charges for repairs you never ordered or gotten done!When its time to renew they try to pressure their tenants to sign a renewal sometimes five months in advance as if you are automatically going to choose their best for another twelve months. If youre looking to feel safe or welcome and deal with professional management ....look elsewhere. more ... hide ...

My experience living at Oaks on Clark under the manager, Victoria Roach, has been extremely unprofessional filled with nothing but excuses. On my scheduled transfer move in day I went to the office only for them to tell me that my apartment wasnt ready without any notification. The move in was extended an entire week. The apartment is in inhabitable condition due to cigarette smoke lingering in the air vents which was discussed upon move in. Victoria Roach failed to take any courses of action causing my family to become ill from the cigarette smoke. Her only response was for me to provide my 30 day notice if I wasnt happy with the condition of my apartment. She also is not allowing me access to my previous mailbox which she took my mailbox key before I was scheduled to turn in the key. I have asked multiple times to be notified when maintenance needs access to my unit however they fail to do so. Victoria Roach needs to be held accountable for how she treats her residents & neglecting her managerial duties. more ... hide ...
