Our experience was great aside from the cleaning that was done. Dont know if it is a company issue or person. I still had to do some cleaning and they were late which delayed us getting keys. Office staff is amazi ng!The office staff has been great. The only issue we had was with the cleaning company they use. Maintenance has been spot on and prompt! This place is a dump. They try to cover up the fact that its outdated, falling apart, and all-around unkempt by calling the building \"historic.\" The hall floors dont match - half is fake wood, and the other half looks like nursing home tile. You have the option for lovely views, but you cannot see out the windows due to the grime caked on them.Another thing to watch out for is insects - especially roaches and wasps. The day I moved in, there were roaches in my dishwasher and bedroom. 4 months later, I still see roaches all over the place. While they have tried to treat them, it hasnt been effective. I think the building has an issue. Its to the point where roaches are getting into my food.Dont live here. There are nicer places to live downtown, I promise. more ... hide ...

Been living here at The Henderson Apartments for a little over a month now and I honestly have no complaints. Its quiet, in a great location, and affordable. The staff is nice and very helpful. I had a small mixup ab out pricing during move-in that one of the managers and one of the staff members did not agree on. Once the manager realized she made a mistake, she owned up to it and apologized and credited the correct amount of funds to my account. Prompt and professional! The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because my air conditioning sometimes doesnt blow out as cool as I think it should. There is also construction going on around the apartment building so it is a bit junky at times. Hope this helps someone! more ... hide ...
