Management is horrible with getting things fixed. I have broken items in the home that have been reported since 2016 and not fixed. I have two kids in the home and they seem not to care. I HAVE MANY ISSUES FROM CLOGGED K ITCHEN SINK, TOILET SWEATING, BROKEN SHOWER, HANGING VENT IN THE CEILING, BROKEN LIGHT SWITCH , ETC. I work hard to keep a roof over our head and Im paying rent to come in a horrible apartment daily.7/14/18left a voicemail and sent an email for things that needed to be fixed.8/10/18office came in day later to replace toilets, the day they were suppose to come they didnt. Came home to my belongings moved around the house thinking an intruder was inside my home until i realized the new toilets. my belongings were not put back where they were found after bringing in new toilets by staff. There was no note left stating they had came inside the home. one of the toilets upstairs that was replaced does not have the top to flush it which means that job was incomplete. They have yet to fix the items i requested on 7/14/18 and two things requested back in April 2018.Today is 8/13/2018 and i will requesting the same maintenance I requested on 7/14 for my smoke detector to be replaced(its beeping), porch lights need bulbs they currently dont work. I have small children and we need our porch light. Light in closet is out, shelves need to be fixed in closet, baseboards are coming apart. I want to make it aware that these items are wear and tear. I have been here going on 5 years and not once have my apartment been kept up or touched by staff. This is not my first apartment and has been treated way better in past apartments. It should not take more than 3-5 days for things to get done. more ... hide ...

My uncle lives here. Its affordable for Seniors on a fixed income and Sandy in Management is one of the sweetest and caring people Ive ever met. There are activities for the Seniors who want to participate! Theres fellow ship worship and religious options as well. Im currently trying to get my mother in there. It will be an easy process with Sandy Im sure. The only thing is the fuss at Unc about his smoking ¬ lol but hes almost 80 I dont think hes gonna quit hes smoked for over 60 years ¤£¥ lol. I have lived at Argyle Place since 2017! I have loved my apartment the space, its quiet and the fireplace was my absolute favorite in the winter months and not to mention the balcony and see the trees change during t he seasons. Management is awesome! JD is one of the coolest managers ever, Beth is always helpful down to earth and just the sweetest lady to converse with. Anytime I had a issue, which in the time Ive lived here have been minor and few, maintenance fixed and often just helped me because I didnt have a ladder or step stool to change out my bulbs! This place is great to live it was a blessing to me and the neighbors are always friendly and peaceful! Truly enjoyed my home, the memories here and the people definitely will miss all! more ... hide ...

I am currently a resident and this has been about the 5th time to call maintenance for under our sink to be repaired and has been and twice of those 5 times Ive gotten an email that it was completed and took them a WEEK to get to it and was lied to!! At one point it created mold and was just scraped off! At this point anybody looking into this place DO NOT DO IT because maintenence is very poorly and you have to buy your own filter which are cheap but usually its provided anyways will be talking to the office once again to get someone qualified to check for mold or anything underneath the wood. The pictures are currently how my sink looks underneath from maintenence coming in so late to fix the problem once again. more ... hide ...
